An exhibition of urban oil sketches by Gallery artist Michael Ashcroft.
This solo showcase will take place in our downstairs Gallery, creating an intimate viewing space and a chance to meet Michael who will be here to discuss his artistic process and inspiration for this new collection of work. This is a fantastic chance to own a dynamic work by an artist at the very top of his field. The paintings are alive with movement, each gestural brushstroke acting as a portal to the streets of Manchester we all know and love.
Preview event - Friday 24th February 2023 6-8pm
**Michael will be offering one of his beautiful oil paintings for free to a lucky attendee of the preview event. 'Late Afternoon, Horrocks Wood' (value £950) can be won by collecting a raffle ticket on the evening, the winner will be announced before the event ends at 8pm and is only available to those attending in person.
