The Autumn Exhibition

10 September - 8 October 2026

We are pleased to present the annual Autumn Exhibition, a mixed show of over 100 new artworks from Modern British, gallery-represented and guest artists.

Each artwork explores landscape - rural, urban, or both - in its own way. Much like the transitional nature of autumn, the showcase is an amalgamation of present and past, memory and seeing the same object sous un autre jour.

This year's exhibition also brings together the works of Paul Nash and John Nash, revolutionaries of landscape painting in the 20th century. Paul Nash sought to "paint trees as though they were human beings" - an attitude felt too in the work of John Nash, in his deep commitment to the anatomy of nature. It is a thread that runs, consciously or unconsciously, through the artists' work presented in this exhibition: working with care and drawing likeness out of difference.
