A finely worked pencil landscape by L.S. Lowry, signed and dated, depicting a coastal path winding down between grassy headlands toward the sea. Fence posts march across the shoreline in receding perspective, with two tiny figures and a dog on the path below, dwarfed by the scale of the surrounding cliffs and sky. A cloudy, atmospheric sky rendered in soft graphite shading dominates the upper composition, showcasing Lowry's skill in capturing the vast, open spaces of the British coastline.
