Florian Foerster German

Florian Foerster is a German printmaker, painter, draughtsman and teacher who works in wide variety of techniques, including printmaking, painting and 3D arrangements. Inspired by the places he has visited, Foerster's work is informed by the investigation and observation of those places or themes associated with them. 

 

For his exhibition at Contemporary Six, the gallery will present a wide range of Florian's engaging works: Manchester-based creations, as well as some from Sao Paulo and Berlin. 

 

Foerster has won several awards at Manchester Academy exhibitions, and his work is held in private collections in Brazil, Germany, and the United Kingdom. In addition to his career as an artist, he works as a structural engineer for buildings and bridges.
