Every summer, Contemporary Six hosts a major exhibition displaying artworks in a variety of mediums by established artists.
The Late Summer Show offers something for all art lovers, from sculptures and ceramics to painting and printmaking. If you have an interest in collecting art, the annual exhibition gathers a diverse body of work under one roof to represent what exactly is happening by the top artists across the north of England, right now.
The show is a fantastic opportunity to find out who are the next big names to look out for, and what the top artists are currently working on. If you are looking to meet one of your favourite artists and discuss their works, the preview event is a brilliant chance to join us for a glass of wine and celebrate the finest of contemporary artwork.
There will be work from artists Jake Attree and Norman Long MAFA, the newest additions to the Gallery. The two distinguished oil painters are highly sought after and the show will be a fantastic opportunity to view their work amongst our collection.
The Late Summer Show will also include brand-new works by Anne Aspinall MAFA, Ian Norris MAFA, Dean Entwistle, Adam Ralston MAFA, Peter Stanaway MAFA, Bruce McLean, Kate Collins MAFA, David Bez and Michael Ashcroft MAFA.'
