Simon Richards
Simon Richards is a new exciting artist based in the centre of Manchester. Whilst he is new on the art scene, he is not new to the art world, having studied art in the late 1980’s in North Oxfordshire.
Like most artists, during his early years he experimented with various styles and media, but now he has honed his skills with pastels and charcoal, preferring the hands on approach to blending and merging colours and shapes together.
His current focus is on figurative portraits, where he is experimenting with the play of tones that light creates as it falls across his subjects.
